HH PERLA was founded by Hanna Hendrickson in 2021 as a way to reconnect with creativity after six years as a full-time mom to her two young children, Noah and Ella. With a background in fine jewelry, wedding planning, marketing, and retail, Hanna was longing for something hands-on, expressive, and rooted in meaning.

Each piece is handmade by Hanna using carefully selected materials, combining natural textures, rich color, and calming neutrals into jewelry that feels both effortless and elevated.

The name PERLA honors her Swedish heritage, where she was born and raised. “Perla” is an old-fashioned spelling of pärla, which means both pearl and bead in Swedish. It’s also a tribute to her late grandmother, Anne Marie, who loved flowers, beautiful churches, long swims in the ocean, and collecting seashells — some of which appear in HH PERLA’s photography today.
